Doing a clean install of a laptop with 500mhz AMDk6 Compaq Presario, I am getting messings saying that it can't copy certain files on this install.

But if it fails on different files that can also mean you have some bad RAM.

Also, is it possible to get some version of DOS on a CD ? The newly added RAM was bad and a 2nd replacement 128 MB of RAM worked like a farkin charm.
