It just saved my buns from that dreaded /system32/config/XXXX file corruption bug that likes to lock out folders and bites me when ever I install GNU software on XP, damn the I don't know why these crazy things happen, but this fixed it. Well, 2 questions. you can borrow another CD drive to your friends, (just for a test) if it works,, then, your CD drive is the main cause.
