Can't Connect To Internet After Installing XP
It's driving me crazy!!!! thank you so much again jas.. I've tried setting up all new kinds of connections, but it wont work. :( I've also tried ipconfig /renew, but no luck there either. It says it can't find the hostname. weblink
I checked everything, and it says I'm ready to go, but, for some strange reason, the computer dosent have Internet Explorer, Mozillo Fire Fox, or anyhting of the sort! Download them and install them. Reinstalled Windows Xp No Internet I finally finished re-installing Win XP Pro SP3 32-bit on my computer, and that went just fine. I do know it's a telephone cable. Go to the dell website, download and install the the drivers for your model.

I have heard nothing good about Windows Vista; but, I was informed the emachine package I was buying had Windows Vista and there was nothing I could do about that fact this content Go to Device Manager and look for any yellow "?", red "X", or "!" symbols.
I keep getting the error message "Failed to query TCP/IP settings of the connection. The disk is the one that came with my computer. The cable from the wall goes right into our switch, and from there there is a cable that goes into my computer (and some other computers in my house, and btw, No driver means no Ethernet network which, in turn, means no internet through it.
