After returning home from work and looking at the various results here I decided to start going through some of the less time consuming walk-throughs.  First focusing on the media. My system specs are Msi K8N Neo4 Amd 4400x2 4Gb Kingston Value ram 1x Sata2 Hard drive Seagate ST3500320AS and 2x Hitachi 80Gb Sata2 Hard drives configured as raid 0 Sata But whatever works! That might be related to having to uninstall 5-7 things like Bonjour or "Apple Software Support" or something else that similarly is useless but gets installed anyway. I don't have a floppy drive but it was enabled in my bios.   I disabled this in the bios and now my install flys. Ran system restore, everything looks ok in device...

My problem was the make of disc that I used!
