You’re Using 32-bit Windows 32-bit versions of Windows have low memory limits. Intel chipset specs are pretty good at explaining what address ranges gets reserved by default and in some cases call out that 1.5GB is always reserved and thus inaccessible to Windows. I would fix one problem only to have another problem pop up...Vista 32/64 was pretty poor, and the only time I ran it was when it came pre-installed...
