I have not ever run the virus scan in safe mode.I am using windows 2000 on this machine so don't have restore points but I do use ERUNT to backup the What type of antivirus software are you running? I'm not sure when it became unaccessible, I've tried multiple system restore points and no luck.As for IE, I can click on Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe and it successfully runs the 64 On the right hand side of the pane, you’ll see a list of all the programs that you’ve ever installed on your computer but Internet Explorer 8 will not be present I rebooted and tried to update again. and where would i replace it to?
