I BELIEVE that Firefox stopped working after my PC installed routine updates. There must be some stray "firefox.exe" in the windows firewall table somewhere. It tells you to free up memory vs "your drive is empty, please insert card" Bless the coder's but the lack of common sense is, well, ya know! And even this pure, clean version of Firefox will not connect to the internet. I removed hardware acceleration and restarted (the setpoint add-on still present but de-activated). I can't get thorugh to the internet.
I upgraded again to Windows 8.1, hoping for the best, but it's the same problem. This didn't solve my problem. I am so over FireFox. I tried uninstalling the last updates for vista and still nothing.
Still didn't work.
