the zoom remained at 110%. I can't even set it to 125 or many other standard sizes. Try this one : Registry Fix Click Start => Run => type in Notepad, press Ok. Select the zoom level you want. have a peek here

If you truly want IE to always open at 125%, I think you will need to use the registry and possibly group policy to enforce it.
