I use "System Explorer" and I would watch my CPU sit at 50% almost all the time. Once you identify IIS as the culprit, how do you narrow it down to which site and even further to compilation, misbehaving URLs, or bad requests? I always shut down overnight and turn on the next day when I need to. I've also restarted my computer several times and ran the update troubleshooting tool (which says there's a problem with the latest update).
