I will see if that works. I thought this might be the problem but checked the bios and it does recognize the type and frequency of the CPU. To do this just make sure your monitor is plugged into whichever video output that lets you see the boot screens and press (F2 on most Dell systems) to enter setup. Rebooted, would show the windows logo then black-screen. I think I've found it. I will do that and see what comes from it.
