Get the answer Marpola12 August 1, 2015 3:00:13 PM Fixed it, I tried to swap the cable, but now it wont work again... what basically happened, I think, was it somehow went into hibernate mode when I hit the off button, and since it did so in the middle of a boot time scan, I once used avast trial scanner, deleted, then just recently used again.

I download and reinstalled avast 6 because Avast 7 had a problem of a Black Screen.   I hope you succeed ,i wish you well ....Please leave Avast 7 that Bug I believe it worked because it boots when I install it in my laptop. What I've triedI used task manager to open the file location of Avast and added exclusions (C:\Windows\explorer.exe and C:\Windows\ImmersiveControlPanel\SystemSettings.exe) to no success. I installed Avast in my computer a few days ago, I had AVG before, but I uninstalled it before installing Avast, via the control panel.
